Welcome to Hillcrest Middle School!
October 22, 2015
Dear Wildcat Parents/Guardians,
We hope your school year is progressing nicely and you are enjoying the cooler fall temperatures. As you are aware, our district's One-to-Global initiative is rolling out this quarter. During the week of November 16, 2015, students who have paid their $20 user fee will be issued a Chromebook. These Chromebooks will be taken home and will not be stored at school. Students will be issued a carrying bag, power cord, and the Chromebook. This is an enormous investment and should be treated as a serious responsibility. Students are expected to secure, care for, and bring their fully charged Chromebook to school each day. Parents are encouraged to pay the $20 user fee as soon as possible so that your student is able to begin their One-to-Global journey with us. Students will not be issued a Chromebook until the fee is paid. Fees are submitted to Mrs. Heishman in the front office at Hillcrest. Checks should be made payable to the school.
The One-to-Global Parent Student Handbook is placed on the school's webpage. Parents are encouraged to carefully review this handbook with their child. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Mrs. Diggs (ext. 800) or Mrs. Boykin (ext. 212) here at the school, 803-499-3341.
