Welcome to Hillcrest Middle School

A Palmetto Silver Award School for 2017-18 and 2018-19

From the Principal’s Desk

As I reflect on the first semester and plan for the second semester, I must share how fortunate I am to serve as principal of Hillcrest Middle School.  I am privileged to work alongside a remarkable team of professionals who are dedicated, caring, and committed in our efforts to improve Hillcrest Middle School.  Additionally, being here to work with our students has been most rewarding.  I am truly fortunate.
Throughout this school year, our students have been working hard to continually improve their academic achievement as well as their positive behavior.  We have had a lot to celebrate with many of our students, teachers, and clubs receiving academic accolades.  We look forward to building on these successes as we transition into the second semester.
Parents, thank you for your engagement in your child’s education and with our school.  It takes everyone working together to keep Hillcrest Middle School invigorated and successful.  We encourage you to stay involved.  Your support makes the difference between a good and excellent school.
If I can assist you in any way, please do not hesitate to ask.

Parents are always welcome at Hillcrest Middle School.  We invite our parents to visit their child’s class or have lunch with their child. Guests should report to the front office immediately upon arrival and secure a visitor’s pass.

Drop-Off/Pick-Up Procedures

Drop off time for car riders is no earlier than 7:30 a.m.  Adequate supervision is not available before this time. Car riders should be dropped off and picked up in the back of the school at the student drop-off/pick-up area.  The entrance to the student drop-off/pick-up area is on Old 521 and goes around to the back of the school.  Please do not use the teacher parking lot to drop-off/pick-up students.
