The National Beta Club is an organization for 4th through 12th grade students in the United States. Its purpose is “to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership and service among elementary and secondary school students.”

The Hillcrest Middle School Jr. Beta Club Chapter will traveling to Myrtle Beach, SC to compete at the South Carolina Jr. Beta Club Convention. Students will compete individually and as teams in areas of academics, visual arts, poetry, engineering, and robotics. The competition is January 10 -12, 2018.
