If parents have any questions or concerns regarding grading or issues concerning your child, please click on this link.  All concerns will be responded to within 24 hours. 

 

Parents – October 1st is the deadline for all Student AUPs to be returned to school or the student’s account may be suspended until it is turned in.  Parents and students should read the Student AUP and then print out, sign and return the Student AUP Agreement.  You are welcome to contact Ms. Hall in the Media Center to see if this form has already been returned to her.  Thank you!

Students are not to be signed out after 2:30pm unless they have a doctor’s appointment card.  Parents must bring the appointment card when picking up students after 2:30pm.

 

Parent pick up is at the rear of the school.  Students are not to be picked up in the front of the building. Only students with early dismissal due to appointments may be picked up in the front of the building.

 

Students should remember to bring bottled water or a refillable water bottle.  There are water bottle stations to fill/refill bottles.  However, we do not use water fountains due to COVID19.

 

All students are required to have a 3 inch 3-ring binder for school, along with dividers and a pencil pouch — NOT a pencil box.  This binder will house all class notes, data, and information.

 

The use of cell phones during the school day at Hillcrest Middle School is prohibited.  Cell phones must be silenced or turned off until 3pm.

Special Announcements –

The Sumter School District has posted its Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan.  This plan will be reviewed at least every six months, and the school district will seek and take into account public input during the review process.  Plan revisions will address updated CDC guidance on safely reopening schools, if any are issued.  Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan
