This is a reminder of our athletic event attendance policies for Hillcrest Middle School, Sumter School District.
To help ensure the safety of everyone who attends Sumter School District high school athletic events, please adhere to the following protocols:
ALL elementary and middle school students (K-8th grade) must be accompanied by an adult 21 years old or older. This is for admittance and during the game. No students can be dropped off unattended.
Students will not be allowed to congregate anywhere in the athletic facilities. Unless they are in line at concessions or using the restroom, the expectation is for students to be in the bleachers enjoying the game.
Clear Bag Policy: Any bag brought into the athletic facilities must be clear.
ALL Sumter School District middle/high school students MUST have their IDs to enter the competition.
No re-entry will be permitted. Tickets are non-refundable.
All Sumter School District facilities are alcohol/tobacco-free.
Anyone caught smoking or vaping will be asked to leave.
No running, horseplay, or verbal/physical altercations are permitted.
No loitering inside or outside the athletic facilities are permitted.
Individuals who violate the alcohol and drug policy or are involved in an altercation will be banned from athletic events for the rest of the school year.
This policy is designed to provide a safe and supervised environment and to ensure the safety and security of our fans, players, staff, and community members.
Please note that there will be no exceptions to these rules. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in implementing these necessary measures.

2024-2025 Ticketing and Attendance Procedures for Hillcrest Middle School Athletic Events.
All tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be sold at the gate. Parents of players will be allowed the first opportunity to purchase. Any student in kindergarten through eighth grade who purchases a ticket will only be allowed to enter with a paying adult. - The cost of tickets is $5.00.
- The Clear Bag Policy will be enforced.
- Children 5 years of age and Under will be admitted free with a paying adult.
- SCHSL pass tickets/District ID’s will be accepted for entry at the gate.
- All in attendance are recommended to follow the guidelines of wearing face coverings at all times and maintaining consistent social distancing.
- Concessions will be available with limited, pre-packaged menu items.
- If you feel sick or you have a fever, please stay home.
- If you have tested positive for COVID-19 recently or are showing COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home.
- If you have had close contact with a person who has symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 14 days, please stay home.
- Tailgating or pre-game gatherings are not permitted.
- Sumter School District has a very strict No Re-Entry Policy.
- Sumter School District Clear bag procedure will be enforced.
- Gatherings on the field, court, and/or parking lot prior to or after the games are not permitted. Spectators must exit the gym/stadium immediately after the end of the contest.
- All staff/spectators are required to stay home if they have a fever or feel sick.
- Spectators will not cross from one side of the stadium or gym to the other during the contest to limit communities from interaction.
- Every other stall will be available in the restrooms.
- Any student in kindergarten through eighth grade who purchases a ticket will only be allowed to enter with a paying adult.
- Limited concessions will be available.
- No Pets are allowed on site.
- All sales are final. There will be NO refunds.
